About the event
This Earth Month, celebrate the spirit of circularity and sustainable consumption with The Good Loop pop-up clothing swap as part of Westfield UTC's Good Festival.
April 24 - 27 Only
11AM - 7PM Daily
Across from True Food Kitchen
HOW TO SWAP:
- Register to reserve 1 hour in the pop-up. Event is free to attend, but registration is required to participate.
- Please BRING NO MORE THAN 5 articles of gently loved clothing. Adult-sized women’s, men’s, and unisex clothing; shoes; handbags; and belts are welcome! (What not to bring: swimwear, jewelry, sunglasses, undergarments, or children’s clothing.)
- Check in upon arrival at The Good Loop pop-up shop. We will inventory your items so we can calculate how many pieces we swap throughout the event.
- We’ll hang your items, and you’ll shop the racks for new-to-you finds! Please only take as many items as you brought to the swap.
- Make friends, meet founder Makenzie Lowe, and chat about sustainable fashion, while enjoying special treats & offers from eco-friendly shops & restaurants, including Aesop, Allbirds, Athleta, Kiehl's, L'Occitane, Reformation, Room & Board, Saje Natural Wellness, Sip Fresh, True Food Kitchen, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, and more!
Through the simple act of swapping, you can breathe new life into pre-loved garments and cultivate a profound sense of camaraderie among eco-minded individuals, all while diverting thousands of items from landfills. Any remaining clothing at the end of the festival will be donated to our neighbors in need at Women's Resource Center.
While tickets are free, a minimum $5 donation is encouraged to support Surfrider Foundation San Diego County, a non-profit environmental organization that is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's ocean, waves, and beaches, for all people.
